The Southern Thailand Elephant Foundation (STEF) is an international charity registered in England. It raises funds to support projects that promote elephant health and welfare in Southern Thailand. Learn more at southernthailandelephants.org.
STEF provides free veterinary care for elephants, ensuring they can live free from pain and suffering. A dedicated team of specialist veterinarians is based at the elephant hospital near Khok Kloi in Phang Nga Province.
The foundation also operates a mobile veterinary clinic, enabling vets to reach sick or injured elephants, even in the most remote areas of Southern Thailand.
3% of every visitor’s entry fee at Phuket Elephant Conservation is donated to STEF, helping to fund this essential service and support the care and treatment of elephants in need.
